Osian sand dunes are located 70 km from Jodhpur city. The good part about them is that they are less crowded and also have a few stay camps. People can enjoy camel and jeep safari tour here.

Not right in a village, you will stay in purpose-built traditional huts home ‘the Jhumpa‘ in the rural desert countryside (not right in a village) more of scattered(spread out) Hamlets.

• Riding animal we call saddle adventure. The rider needs to be confident in the saddle.
• For camel ride, one should know few basic things before(from your host or guide) mounting on a camel.
• For safety purposes, this activity (camel & jeep safari) is not recommended for women who are more than 3 months pregnant, anyone that has had major surgery, or has a broken leg/arm, has chronic back or neck pains, etc..

For camel ride not really but for horse ride yes.

Absolutely! This small desert town was once an important trading center of the Marwar kingdom and has many stunning temples. Osian is the perfect place if you want a desert experience but don't want to visit the more popular Jaisalmer.

• April to June always hot summer.
• July to September is also hot but monsoon season make it better.
• From October starts is less hot, so nice time to experience.
• November to February is Winter time, mostly sunny days outside.

October to March will be the best time to visit due to best weather condition.
